Horses

Brazo
Brazo is a black and white paint gelding, born in 1994.  He is the tallest horse in the program at almost 16 hands.  Brazo's favorite thing to do is eat and roll in the dirt or mud.  Brazo is always ready to trot, despite his slow walk.

Jack

Jack is a red sorrel quarter horse gelding, born in 1989.  His attitude and willingness to work are always number one.   Jack's honesty is his best trait.

Chip
Chip is a registered quarter horse and is such a dark chocolate brown that he is almost black and was born in 1993.  Chip is very handsome and he knows it.  Chip is a very sensitive horse, but loves to roll in the mud with his pasture pal Rusty.

Boomerang, or Boomer for short, was born in 2000.  He is a tri-color paint (brown, black and white) with a white boomerang shape above his tail.  Boomer has a calm demeanor, resulting from being in the Young Guns drill team.  He is only 14 hands tall, but stocky enough to carry any rider.  The mares in the field like his flashy colors!

Boomer
Chance
Chance is our youngest horse.  Even though he was only born in 2003, Chance has had an extensive show career.  Chance has grown to be a favorite due to his inquisitive personality.

CeCe is an Appaloosa mare, born in 1991.  She is very sweet and eager to please.  She can handle any rider.  CeCe had a foal, Jazzy in January 2011.

Homie
Homie is a blood bay registered quarter horse, born in 1993. He is owned by three wonderful girls who generously donate his services to therapeutic riding. He has the best disposition in the world.   He has been shown extensively and gladly shares his knowledge with our students.  Homie's favorite thing to do is hang out with his best friend Shooter.

Marsha is a golden palomino mare, born in 1997, that is also currently being used as a show horse. She is strikingly beautiful, but calm and steady at her work. Marsha loves to be brushed.  She is a diva.  She had a foal, Carmel, in April 2009 and Lily, in March 2010 and Penny, in March 2011.

Mama, Baby and Cappi

Mama is a miniature horse, born in 2000.  She is broke to drive and will be helping with our driving program.  She is sweet and gentle and loves being around the kids.  She is on a diet to improve her figure.

Baby is Mama’s baby.  She is a miniature horse born in 2003.  She is very spirited.  She is pretty and full of energy.  She will be helping with our driving program as well.

Cappi is a dwarf horse, born in 2000.  She is our smallest horse, only coming up to an adult’s knees.  She is very easy-going and a joy to be around.  She is friendly to all.  Cappi is just here to love on.
